Efusjon Just Closed Its Doors To Network Marketing
Efusjon may not have made it to the headlines when it launched its innovative range of health drinks that are supposed to burst with energy; but the company sure did come to the limelight when it closed its MLM business all of a sudden. In a not-so-apologetic letter addressed to the distributors, the corporate officers of Efusjon closed its MLM arm and informed the team of their decision to move out of direct marketing, while at the same time, subtly placed the blame for this decision on the very distributors they were apologizing to.
The company felt that its MLM business model was not bringing in the returns it should and this was the reason for its decision. While this could be hard news to digest as a distributor, this should in no way deter you from the route to achieve success through network marketing. Take heart in the fact that you’re not alone. As many as 95% of MLM companies fail within three years of launch.
Efusjon was launched with a lot of expectations and predictions that it will emerge a leader in the network marketing field. With a strong presence in Facebook, training facilities for distributors and innovative marketing techniques that targeted youngsters, the company did quite well in promoting its youthful drink. So why is Efusjon out of business now?
– The company did use a lot of online tools to market their business on the internet and encouraged its distributors to do the same; still, there was the old mentality of approaching friends and relatives instead of a wider target market.
– Efusjon had developed a Facebook game as well as an iPhone app to promote its product. However, distributors didn’t take these up seriously as means to market the products because they were not trained in social media strategies.
– The business was promoted as an easy money scheme instead of as an actual opportunity to make money through effort. More emphasis was placed on bringing in people than selling the product. This made the network marketing company work like a pyramid scheme and most pyramid structure are like a house of cards; destined to fall at some point of time.
– Moreover, health drinks is a field that’s already overcrowded and dominated by stars like Herbalife, Reliv, Vemma and Monavie. This means distributors had to find new customers or convert loyal customers of these companies to Efusjon and I’d say that’s not an easy thing to do.
I’m not trying to pontificate with this article on the qualities of a good distributor or MLM business. There are distributors who are passionate about the products they sell and work real hard to make their business a success and I know how disappointed they’d be when their company closes its doors on their face.
But just because Efusjon’s dead, you don’t have to close your network marketing business. If you’ve built a brand for yourself, any business you take up will be successful. When you are a brand, you’ll have your own set of loyal customers who trust you and follow you. The internet should help you in achieving this aim. Internet lead generation tools will get you in touch with lots of potential customers and team members. Learn to use these tools wisely to establish your name and create trust and you’ll see that you have an ever growing group of supporters to see you through any business.
